From Flat To Fixed

Learn how to best apply your sidewall patch.

Prep the surface

Sand around the damaged area so there is no lettering, raised area or lugs where the patch will lay.

Apply adhesive to the cut/slice edges

Hold the cut back together for 1 minute to allow for a cure. Once dried, lightly re-sand to remove dried excess adhesive.

Measure and cut patch to size - trace on tire

Use a patch to cover the damaged area, ensure there is at least 1/2" of patch all around the puncture/damage.

Apply adhesive in dot pattern

This can be done on the patch or the tire. Follow glue pattern in the instructions. Immediately set the patch in place and apply pressure.

Apply pressure, let cure for 10 minutes

Hold the patch with even pressure 3 minutes. Ensure corners and edges are fully adhered.

Check work - Inflate and Ride!

Air up tire, check for leaks. If leak is found, remove air from tire and add adhesive as needed. Inflate and ride!
